This article mainly analyzes the types and potential risks of common voltage terminals for wires of different diameters in the high-voltage charging base of new energy vehicles. Firstly, this paper focuses on discussing the problem of signal line breakage caused by the significant difference in tensile force values when the signal line and the PE line are co-pressed at high magnification wire diameters. Secondly, it compares and elaborates on the advantages and disadvantages of MW-type crimping and six-sided crimping. Finally, it proposes improvement measures such as optimizing the crimping process, mold design, and wire harness fixation to enhance the connection reliability of the co-pressed terminal, providing a basis for product development and quality control.
