Abstract

In response to the increased heterogeneity of European charging piles under the promotion of the EU AFIR regulation, which has led to the risk of vehicle and pile compatibility, this article proposes a European standard compatibility testing method based on the analysis of charging characteristics. By analyzing the differences in communication protocols, electrical parameters and protection strategies of charging piles under standards such as DIN 70121 and ISO 15118, a virtual test bench covering charging performance, reliability, boundary values, adaptability and fault injection was built to simulate abnormal scenarios of hardware and protocols. This method can simulate the failure scenarios of European standard charging, reduce the cost of overseas real-pile testing, and provide technical support for the coordinated optimization of vehicles and charging piles when electric vehicles are exported to Europe.
