Environmental Management Problems and Solutions in the Maintenance Process of Power Battery for New Energy Vehicles

Abstract

Against the backdrop of global energy transition, the new energy vehicle industry has achieved rapid expansion, driving a sharp increase in the stock of power batteries, while environmental management problems in the maintenance process have gradually emerged. Focusing on the power battery maintenance process, this paper identifies three core problems in the industry through systematic analysis: irregular recycling and disposal of waste batteries, poor control of harmful gas emissions, and chaotic waste classification management. These problems directly lead to heavy metal pollution, deterioration of air quality, and waste of resources. To address the above issues, this paper proposes corresponding solutions: establishing a sound waste battery recycling system, equipping professional waste gas treatment devices, and implementing strict waste classification management systems. Through multiple measures, including system construction, facility improvement and system implementation, the environmental management behaviors in the maintenance process can be effectively standardized. The research results provide practical guidance for improving the environmental protection level of power battery maintenance and help the industry achieve green and sustainable development.
