Four-in-One Electronic Control System in the Research and Application of Battery Thermal Management System for New Energy Vehicles

Abstract

Under the background of the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry,the performance of the battery thermal management system has become the core factor determining the safety of the battery and the overall performance of the vehicle. In response to the shortcomings of traditional systems such as low integration, poor coordination, and insufficient energy efficiency, this article has developed a four-in-one electronic control system integrating a 5.5 kW frequency converter, a 1.5 kW adjustable voltage DC/DC power supply, a 24 kW high-efficiency PTC drive module, and a CCU controller. Through the integration design, intelligent control strategy, and the integration of cloud intelligent control platform technology, real-time monitoring of battery temperature, precise regulation, and full life cycle management are achieved. Real vehicle verification shows that this system has the advantages of high integration, high reliability, small size, and lightweight, with a temperature control error of ≤±0.5 ℃ , and an energy efficiency improvement of more than 31%, effectively reducing the risk of thermal runaway, and providing technical support for the independent control of core components of new energy vehicles.
